It is not a non-disclosure agreement.\n\nA teaser can say the trade, the region, a revenue band, and why you are selling. It should not name the company, the largest customer, or the employees. NewHands's public listing document follows that split: the confidential narrative stays locked until an NDA is signed by the human buyer.\n\nThe click-through NDA in this product is a sample mechanic for the software. It is not a negotiated NDA and NewHands is not a party to your deal. Use your lawyer's form when the buyer is real.\n\nDo not upload customer lists, tax returns, or employee names to a partner feed. The feed is for the teaser fields. The data room is per deal, and only after the NDA.\n\nIf a public record — a liquor permit, a Secretary of State filing — already names the company, the index will show that record with a link to the agency. That is not NewHands disclosing your CIM. You can file a claim on the card if something is wrong.\n\n## Telling employees\n\nTell the people who already know, and tell them the truth you can keep. A manager who will sit in buyer meetings has to be told before the first meeting, with a clear statement that the sale may not happen. The rest of the crew is usually told when a letter of intent is signed or when diligence will make the visits obvious. A rumor is worse than a short meeting. Do not promise that every job survives. You do not know that yet.\n\n## Telling customers\n\nThe largest customers hear it from you, not from a buyer walking the floor. Wait until you are confident the buyer will close, or until the buyer needs the introduction to close. A teaser does not go to your customer list. A buyer who asks for customer calls before an NDA and before you have chosen them is early.\n\nWrite the sentence you will use, and have your lawyer read it if a contract forbids you from disclosing the sale. This page is the order of operations. It is not that sentence."}}}
