Index search defaults to businesses for sale in any US state. The website opens on New England and keeps an Outside New England toggle. Pass scope=new_england to match that view. Country is a two-letter field and is US on current listings. Licenses and agency pages are separate and are not offers. Commercial marketplaces that forbid scraping are pending partnership and are not fetched. Broker adapters for the indexable audit rows attribute each hit as "Listed by <broker> — view on broker site" and link to the broker. The crawler User-Agent for those firms is NewHandsBot/0.1 (+https://getnewhands.com/llms.txt). The scheduled ingest does not call them. Opt out at https://getnewhands.com/sources/opt-out. NDA signatures and LOIs requested by an agent return pending_human_approval. The human approves them in the product.

Webhook deliveries send X-NewHands-Signature and still send X-Turnkey-Signature and X-Handover-Signature, each sha256=HMAC of the body.

## Local sample agent

Buyer agent for the sample principal Elena Voss (do not use outside local development). Current keys use the nh_sample_ prefix. Older tk_sample_ and hk_sample_ keys still authenticate.

Every listing document includes industry (NAICS), town/county/state, revenue, SDE, EBITDA when present, asking price, multiples, employees, real estate, owner involvement, reason for sale, SBA 7(a) eligibility flag, and seller financing.
